Welcome to Coffeyville Public Library.
We offer many different services to the public.
Adult Book Club
The book club meets the last Thursday of each month at 12:30.
Audio Books
The audio book selection is located east of the main desk. Cassette tape and CD plus Playaways are available. Audio books are checked out for three weeks with renewals available. Many more audio books are available thru the Kansas State Library Overdrive Program.
Book Sales
The Coffeyville Public Library Foundation sponsors four book sales each year. The dates for 2008 are June 6, September 5 and December 5, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Community Room
The room is available for public meetings, parties, etc. for a non-refundable fee of $15.00. The room capacity is 65. A kitchenette is located in the southeast corner with coffee pot, silverware, punchbowl, and snack sets. Additional tables and chairs are available upon request. Yearly rentals may be scheduled ahead for clubs and other groups. To reserve call (620) 251-1370.
Fax
Fax service is available at the Main Desk. To send a fax is $1.00 per page. To receive a fax is 25 cents. The fax number is (620) 251-1512.
Inter-Library Loan
Internet & Computer access
Wireless Internet access – see circulation desk for equipment requirements and policy.
Kansas Library Card
Many On-line Databases are available thru this service sponsered by the Kansas State Library and Kan-Ed.
Large Print
Large Print section is located on the south wall of the Adult Department. LT Books are checked out for three weeks with renewal available.
Magazines & Newpapers
Magazines are held for 5 years. Newspapers are held for 6 months. We subscribes to the Kansas City Star, Topeka Capital Journal, Tulsa World, Wichita Eagle, USA Today, Wall Street Journal and Sunday New York Times. The current issue of our magazines can be checked out for overnight only. Older issues are for one week with no renewals.
Photocopier
Copies are available for 10 cents a page
Summer Reading
Summer reading programs for all ages. The Summer Reading programs were a great success. Come in and see what we have planned for next year.
Videos & DVD
A limit of five videos may be checked out on an individual's card for one week. No renewals available on videos or DVDs. DVDs are limited to five check-out on an individual's card.
YAK
Young Adult Korner features Teen Fiction with a small reading area. We have new furniture!! Soon we will have our grand opening for YAK. Come in and see what we have done.
